Chartis Launches Inaugural Women’s Leadership Group Dialogue

KUALA LUMPUR – Chartis Malaysia Insurance Berhad (Chartis) held its inaugural Women’s Leadership Group high tea at Carcosa Seri Negara today, its first in a series of dialogue sessions to promote the advancement of women as leaders in business.

The event saw guest of honour, Datin Paduka Marina Mahathir, engage with women leaders in insurance in a talk show format. The topics of today’s discussions were around recent announcements to see women taking up 30% of leadership roles, specifically in business in Malaysia. 

Guests included women leaders comprising of Chartis corporate partners and brokers, using this session to network and exchange ideas.  

“We see these sessions as an innovative way to encourage female leaders to play role model to other women aspiring to achieve success in business,” said Soo Wai Har, Senior Vice President and Director for Finance and Corporate Services for Chartis. “We look forward to future dialogue sessions with our business partners”.
