AIG ‘Insurer of the Year’ For 3rd Straight Year

Kuala Lumpur, 23 April, 2014: AIG Malaysia has won ‘Insurer of Year’ from the Motordata Research Consortium of Malaysia (MRC) for being the fastest in the industry in turning around motor claims. This is the 3rd consecutive year AIG Malaysia has received this award.

The award was presented at the ‘Annual Automotive Insurance Industry Forum 2014’ in Kuala Lumpur recently.

“This is an outstanding accomplishment, which is made even more special now that we have won this award 3 years in a row. We have set a benchmark with our claims processes here at AIG Malaysia and will need to keep pushing ourselves to stay on top of the market,” said Dilsher Singh, Head of Claims at AIG Malaysia.

"MRC has organized the Annual Automotive Insurance Industry Forum for many years. The forum recognizes achievements to raise standards across the industry by awarding top performance in motor claims servicing. Recognition challenges insurers to keep on improving the quality of service, resulting in positive and healthy competition amongst insurers. We wish to congratulate AIG Malaysia for winning the prestigious award and setting a high standard,” said Pn. Rossita Abu Hurairah, CEO of MRC Malaysia.
